What are some really good headphones?

I think that I will want over the ear ones because those probably have the best sound quality and maybe noise cancellation. I want to be able to play dubstep with great bass and also punk rock and metal with amazing quality. My budget is about 250 give or take about 30 bucks. I want really good ones that might not be name brand but give the best playback for your money. Also noise cancellation might really be good for me.
