WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SPEAKERS?

To get headphones to work on my computer, I disabled the speakers. Now when I go to playback devices to enable it again, I can't find it!!!! NOW THERES NO SOUND AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO GET IT BACK!!! PLEASE HELP!!! :'(

Computer Keeps Freezing?

I have an older Gateway 700XL (1gb ram,ati radeon 7500,160gb hdd,3ghz p4 HT) it does have a dedicated sound card but off hand I don't remember what it is. Anyways occasionally during video playback or dvd burning the computer freezes hard with a loud skipping scratchy noise coming from the speakers. Nothing I do will break the freeze except for holding the power button and rebooting. Lately the frequency of this issue has been increased. I have tried to find driver updates but there doesnt seem to be any support anymore for this model What could it be and What can I do?

My fraps doesn't record sound?

Hey guys, here's my problem, I open FRAPS and a game (mount and blade) in case you need to know. So i record myself playing and commentating, but when I playback to check it out, it comes out soundless! I checked my microphone using Realtek sound recorder and it works properly, so do the headphones, but when i use the program FRAPS it doesn't record anything! Please help because this is stalling my Youtube videos' progress.

Doctors, experts! Anyone! Please help! What wrong with me?

Out of no where sometimes when i think of something it feels like it was a dream orlike ive been there in my last life coz it feels like a playback or something. It goes for a few seconds and after that this funny warm feeling burns my heart and travels all the way to the left side of my body, to the neck, to my hands, tummy n legs, basically everywhere. Its this tingling feeling.. This lasts for around a few seconds to a minute.. Im not too sure because when it happens it feels like im in another world, im seeing other things that feels so familiar like ive seen it befire yet i dont know where it is and what it is or who it is and how i know them. Please do help me this is like the 5th time i got this and it comes and goes.. All i have to do is think of something and then that burning t hing happens again! After that happens, i forget what i thought about and what i see during the burning sensation. Please help i really dont know wht to do.. Is this a mini stroke? Or.. What? Sound not working, help!?

Alright so the sound on my Compaq Presario CQ62 is no longer playing back or letting me record sound. I was recording myself playing guitar and it worked fine until one recording had no sound and then it said that no audio device could be found. When I hit OK, under the Playback tab in the sound device manager, speakers showed up as working and a microphone showed up as working under the Recording Tab. I had a Microsoft Fix program try to fix it, but it found no errors. I am really confused and don't know what to do. Could someone help me?

Itunes music wont play.?

Hey so I just re installed windows on my computer and got everything working again, but when i installed itunes it doesn't work. Like when i try to open it a message comes up that says " itunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. audio/video playback may not work properly" Then itunes comes up and looks like everything working alright until i try to play some music. Nothing plays and the timer stays at 0 seconds, but my audio works for everything else. I looked around and tryed everything to get it to work but its still messing up. ATA Channel 0: Device Cannot Start?

I'm having some trouble with my computer. About 2 weeks ago, my computer wouldn't produce any sound from the speakers. I checked and everything is unmuted but still no sound. When I go on Skype and try to receive or make a call, it says I have a problem with my playback device. Then, if I try to play a game on a disk, it won't work. I went to device manager and it shows a yellow symbol next to ATA Channel 0 and when I click on it, it says code 10 device cannot start. I do not know what's wrong!! I am using Windows 7 and my laptop is a Toshiba model number: PSK2CU-01Q01S if that helps any.

there are many things that could really use some changing. But the problem is finding a way to make the changes one at a time without disrupting the whole system. This change has been foretold to come for a very long time through prophets and such. It must come because we can not continue in this manner for much longer. But no one seems to be able to come up with a way to resolve the issues that will result from the "waking". We must do something pretty fast and there will be big problems once we do, but we have no choice. I have seen many attempts at preparing people for this waking, but people are not getting it. There is so much trash around it that it is hard for most of us to grasp what is going on. The preparation attempts have i my eyes been a drastic failure. I have no clue how to resolve the problem and no one that knows about it is talking. You have to know that it is there before you can see it. Then the deeper you look into what you find, the brighter it is to you. Once you see it, it is hard to believe you could not see it before. But you were blinded by the world as you thought it was. it's muddy water but keep dipping into it and you will see. the blindness can be lifted. But in order to see you must first believe. That is the hard part. How to believe in something that you can not see, and that sounds like craziness. But if i am crazy it is for Christ that i am crazy. It is for the love of truth and fairness to all. This world is very hard to continue to live in once your eyes are opened to the truth and you are surrounded by the blind and considered crazy if you open your mind to any of them. i am torn in two. better for me to depart from this world but better for you that i remain for the chance that maybe i can be of assistance in the waking some day hopefully before it is too late. I can't hear everything in FL Studio?

My sound is on, I know the volume is right in FL because when I click a note on the piano roll, I can hear it, but when i click PLAY on the playback, it doesn't play what I selected from the piano roll. It shows the green lines of the piano notes in the pattern row where the piano instrument is. I can hear the beats that I made, but not the notes for the piano? Why is this?

Ipod 5th generation 30gb wont charge?

I have an ipod 5th generation with video playback and it wont charge for some reason. When it boots up i get the sad ipod face. The sad ipod face means that it has hard drive problems but the hard drive spins. I tried restore with itunes and no luck. Recently I have been having A LOT of trouble with videos at You Tube. They load incredibly slow and as a result the video won't playback right. I write this question in fairness as I have wrote many times my plea for Catholics to examine their faith in that salvation is in Christ Alone, not the church or meritous works or by praying TO Mary, etc. But do you think you are heading to the "wide gate" as Jesus explained? The narrow one is one where "few" will find it, not billions he said but a "few". So ask yourself this question and then respond also in fairness. Because like you, I was Catholic, and rested on the notion of tradition and so many in this faith, but examine it according to scripture, the OT and NT thoroughly it was revealed to me this faith can only be the wide gate. Do you not agree that Christ alone is your means to salvation? No intercessors needed, no purgatory, just Christ and in Him alone? And no, I did not need people like Martin Luther or John Calvin or any protestant for that matter in order to finally see the light, just God's Holy Word. I do not consider myself a "fundie" or "protestant' just a Christian obedient to Jesus Christ.

Ok I have the YouTube app for my iPod, so I can watch most videos on YouTube. But sometimes there is a video that says "the author of this video does not allow playback on iPod" I made a couple of my own videos, and used movie maker and posted to YouTube but when I tried to watch them it says the same thing! How do I allow iPod to view the videos, or if I make a new one how do I change that?? Thanks!

Any decent alternatives to the iPod classic?

So I'm looking to replace my trusty little iPod nano (8gb, 4th gen) because the battery life has slowly gotten worse and my music collection is now alot bigger than it was when I first got it in autumn 2008. So I need a new music player, at least 60 gb, needs to have video playback, easy to use interface, docking station readily availible (all of these are must haves!) my would-likes are: compatible with iTunes or uses similar software (I'm not keen on windows media sync or manual sync-ing), can play iTunes music files (I could convert them all but let's face it, I don't really want to :L). The reason why I'm a bit apprehensive of the classic is because of the EU volume cap, and I've seen quite a few complaints about faulty products, warranty's etc though my last two iPods were both amazing in this department :) Any opinions or info would be greatly appreciated :)

Low volume in Windows 7 as compared to xp?

I recently installed windows 7 in my d drive. I have two windows one in c drive & one in d (Multi bootable) .I found that windows 7 has marginally low volume as compared to xp.Is there any way to increase it by cross checking the same song in win xp..Do i need to update my sound drivers or its the inherent problem in windows 7.I found 1 way on internet.It was like right click speaker option & then click on playback devices etc. etc. etc. It didn't work with me.So don't give me this method as an answer :(

I need help with the Silverlight plugin for Netflix please!?

I have tried installing and reinstalling the plugin multiple times until I read on a forum that an older version of the plugin worked better since the new version of Silverlight was not "compatible" with Windows Vista. I downloaded the old version and when I tried it in Netflix, it kept showing a playback error. I contacted Netflix and they told me that the playback error was due to the old version of the Silverlight plugin and then instructed me into downloading the new version. I downloaded it but now I am back to square one with it reporting that it is again crashing. Is there anything I can do to go back to watching Netflix?

Stop Quicktime .MPEG playback in Vista?

Since updating my Internet explorer to the latest version of 9 all streaming .MPEG videos have stopped opening in Windows Media Player and instead now open inside the browser window through Quicktime. I have tried every fix I could find including changing the MIME settings through Quicktime and the default file types for Windows Media Player. Nothing seems to work and it's driving me absolutely insane, someone please help!

You're loading one video, so the first video gets all the transfer rates while the second video gets fewer. It could be that your connection isn't that fast enough to transfer same speed for both videos. It's normal, don't worry.

I have got Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum Pro 10, but it is continuously crashing!?

I bought this from Sony, and it came in disk. I successfully downloaded it onto my laptop. My laptop has 4GB memory. At first I thought that maybe my laptop was a bit full; so I deleted some applications, but it still crashes. Whenever I'm doing anything on it, be it playback, importing clips, looking at clips, searching for clips etc. it freezes up and says "Not Responding" it then says Vegas Movie Studio has to close or something. Pink-screen PS3 non-hdtv prob!! Help!?

So I bought a PS3 and haven't upgraded my TV situation to an HDTV...so I bought a R/G/B PS3 cord and am currently using it. I held down the power button for 10 secs and reset it already. The graphics are still really good and the sounds impeccable, BUT everything is a tinge of pink. Everything. The PS3 home screen, DVD playback, games, internet...everything. I've tried to unplug the cord and replug it back in, and other R/G/B ports on my tv. It just doesnt seem to come in normal. Whites, greys, pretty much anything neutral or red is pink-ish.

Does God hate me or is he just not real?

I am a 25 year old woman who is very nice, polite and try to be a good person all the time, but yet who has been struggling so bad and so much my whole life with abuse by a lot of people, and even physically abuse. I have ADD which I hate and want to go away. I have put on over 60 pounds for not doing it on purpose at all, medications own fault and my old physciatrist didin't even care therefor I've been called fat, ugly, ect. and she missed diagnosed all her patients with bipolar disorder. I'm addicted to the drugs for ADD when I've prayed and begged for God to cure my or help with my ADD when he didn't, he let me become a drug addict instead. There is a lot of things that I have prayed for and some that were very serious and I always get NOTHING out of it. I am starting to have serious doubts and realize that religion is made up by a bunch of people to scare others and that God, Jesus Christ, Heaven, and hell are nothing but fairy tales and the bible is man made. Burned DVD, no sound?

Ok, I have Windows 7 on my HP Compaq 8510p. I'm trying to burn a DVD using the Windows DVD Maker program. I've wasted about 4 DVD disks so far trying to burn a movie, the picture is PERFECT, but no sound? The menu sound is working though? Now, I have already have the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack & the DivX Codec Pack along with the DivX Converter. I've already checked my sound settings in the Device Manager and properties. I've tried everything, so what exactly am I doing wrong? I've even tried using the Windows Media Centre program to burn my movie DVD, but still, no sound. I've tried it on our Blu-Ray player, DVD player and also tried playback on my laptop. What steps should I try next?

DVD's and Windows 7 Starter?

I've heard that Windows 7 Starter Edition comes without DVD playback. I plan to buy an external DVD drive so I can use my Toshiba N550D netbook for light gaming. What I want to know is if this affects installing games/ programs from DVD's or whether it just applies to watching movies?
