I tried my best to believe in God, but now I want to move on with my life, why is that such a bad thing?

I even followed by this saying in the bible: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." And everything I go through I just keep getting weaker and weaker and keep asking for God's strength but yet I am so weak that my religion with God is about done. I want to live a life of my own with myself, my family and friends now. Why would that be bad?
