Why has our country turned away from it's history?

Firts, the Pilgrims came here for religios freedom. Second, MOST of the Founding Fathers were Deist, Atheist, and some were Pagan. And finally the motto "In God We Trust" was a late add on during the "Red Scare" period of the 1950's, not on any original document. This country was founded on a variety of moral and ethical values. Please read some history books before believing everything your Minister has to say.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SPEAKERS?

To get headphones to work on my computer, I disabled the speakers. Now when I go to playback devices to enable it again, I can't find it!!!! NOW THERES NO SOUND AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO GET IT BACK!!! PLEASE HELP!!! :'(

Computer Keeps Freezing?

I have an older Gateway 700XL (1gb ram,ati radeon 7500,160gb hdd,3ghz p4 HT) it does have a dedicated sound card but off hand I don't remember what it is. Anyways occasionally during video playback or dvd burning the computer freezes hard with a loud skipping scratchy noise coming from the speakers. Nothing I do will break the freeze except for holding the power button and rebooting. Lately the frequency of this issue has been increased. I have tried to find driver updates but there doesnt seem to be any support anymore for this model What could it be and What can I do?

Nikon d3000 question about playback!?

when i take a picture on my nikon D3000, it takes about 3 sec for the picture to come up on the screen, it wasnt like that before. it would come up in about 1 sec. how can i change that?

My computer sound doesn't work?

i went to CONTROL PANEL and CLICKED "SOUND" it showed me "PLAYBAK" , "RECORDING" , AND "SOUNDS" in "PLAYBACK" it says "SPEAKERS (WORKING)" on "RECORDING" it says "FRONT MIC (NOT PLUGGED IN) , MICROPHONE (NOT PLUGGED IN) , AND LINE IN (NOT PLUGGED IN)? What does that mean? Help please! (No sound comes out this just happened recently!) it's a DELL Computer!
